Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistician to join our team at Simulation Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, ensuring stock levels are maintained at an appropriate level by coordinating the efficient movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the logistics lifecycle through procurement, production, testing, and delivery.
  • Manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring stock levels are maintained at an appropriate level by coordinating the efficient movement of materials.
  • Establish Material Operations Strategy that ensures operation readiness, resource allocation, and compliance with government and internal policies.
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure the timely acquisition and distribution of critical resources.
  • Drive overall material health, material schedule, and accurately forecast costs by using statistical planning models to forecast the material demand for the site.
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas to meet site and delivery commitments.
  • Drive continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives within the site and across the manufacturing process.
  • Identify and resolve material related issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes.
  • Manage and communicate material risks and opportunities with Program Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Self-directed and able to perform assignments independently under time constraints.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and perform general office functions.
  • Experience with warehouse and manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance preferred. Ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required.
