We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Pathologist to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in evaluating a large volume and wide variety of gynecologic specimens, working closely with our gynecologic oncologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time academic faculty position available in gynecological surgical pathology. We are looking for a non-tenure track Surgical Pathologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor to join our interactive and collegial group of faculty. The successful candidate will be board eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology and also be eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate a large volume and wide variety of gynecologic specimens
  • Work closely with gynecologic oncologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in clinical and translational scholarship and teaching
  • Develop and maintain expertise in gynecologic pathology
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in anatomic pathology and gynecologic pathology, with a passion for teaching and research. Fellowship training and/or expertise in gynecologic pathology is preferred. Interest in a second anatomic pathology subspecialty, specifically perinatal, breast or cytopathology are desirable.
