Academic Medical Renal Pathologist Position

Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites applications for a full-time academic faculty position in medical renal pathology.
We seek a non-tenure track Surgical Pathologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor to join an interactive, collegial group of faculty who evaluate a wide variety of medical and transplant renal specimens in a subspecialized setting.
Emory University has very active renal transplant and nephrology programs, with multiple core laboratories available for collaborative research opportunities, including in the National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Winship Cancer Institute and in the Emory National Primate Research Center.
The successful candidate will be board-eligible or certified in Anatomic Pathology and also be eligible for medical licensure in Georgia. Fellowship training and/or expertise in renal pathology is required. Interest in a second anatomic pathology subspecialty is desirable.
