Position Overview:
We are in search of a committed Patient Care Coordinator to enhance our healthcare services. The Patient Care Coordinator is essential in ensuring outstanding patient support under the guidance of a healthcare provider. Key responsibilities encompass preparing patients for appointments, managing necessary documentation, and executing various tasks to assist the team in providing superior care.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with adaptable daytime hours and two evenings each week until 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent coursework in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Pharmacology.
Experience:
- At least one and a half years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Preferred background as a Medical Assistant.
Certifications/Licenses:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within three months of employment.
Certification options include CMA, RMA, or LPN license.
