We are seeking a skilled Lead Financial Analyst who will oversee daily financial operations, manage month-end closing activities, and conduct thorough financial reporting. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and outstanding communication and teamwork abilities. The successful candidate will excel in a dynamic environment filled with stimulating challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing tasks, including routine journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all accounting practices.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the financial department.
- Work collaboratively across various teams to improve efficiency and productivity in financial operations.
- Support audit processes and engage in special projects as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Prior experience with audits and a proven ability to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Self-driven with a proactive and flexible mindset.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Background in the healthcare or technology industries.
- Familiarity with software such as Sage's Intact, Brex Empower, and Lease Query.
