We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Health and Safety Leader to join our team at Limbach Facility Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs that align with our company's vision and values.
Your primary focus will be on integrating EHS services with our Hearts & Minds initiatives to foster a culture of safety that goes beyond compliance. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team, corporate departments, and local branch business units to develop and maintain strategies to prevent incidents, injuries, illnesses, and environmental incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS programs, processes, and initiatives that support our company's vision and growth objectives.
- Champion the Hearts & Minds safety culture across the organization.
- Develop comprehensive short- and long-term EHS strategies through collaboration with senior leadership and various corporate departments.
- Design effective control systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and manage company-specific benchmarks, KPIs, and dashboards to track progress towards strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain key relationships and influence within all levels of the organization to integrate EHS objectives into operational focuses.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in EHS, preferably with a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field. You should have a proven track record of building a proactive, integrated safety culture and have experience in identifying, defining, and actualizing organization-wide objectives. Additionally, you should have the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and have a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
