Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Developer to join our team at Axelon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and control systems, with experience in developing and implementing automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions using industrial control systems software platforms.
  • Design and develop standardized modular programming philosophy for PLC and HMI applications.
  • Develop and maintain machine health and compliance reporting data for reciprocal and turbine engines.
  • Provide advanced technical input to engineering and construction to ensure effective design, installation, and operation of control-related software and hardware systems.
  • Work with third-party automation integrators to ensure project development meets NNG standards and requirements.
  • Develop and implement migration plans and replacement priorities for existing control systems.
  • Investigate, analyze, and make recommendations related to reliability, effectiveness, and efficiency of installed and proposed equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, civil, and chemical) from an accredited institution.
  • Three or more years of progressive related work experience.
  • Experience in pipeline-related field activity preferred.
  • Must be versed in multiple industrial controls systems software platforms.
  • Must possess skills related to computer and control system networks, including common industrial protocols and database management.

Working Conditions:

The incumbent will work in environments requiring resolution of complex problems in stressful situations. Subject to 24-hour a day, 7-day a week callout. Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
