Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is seeking a skilled Home Health RN Traveler to join their team in Glen Carbon, Illinois.

As a Home Health RN Traveler, you will provide medical care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Work Functions:

  • Completes nursing assessment of patients and documents appropriately into patient record.
  • Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
  • Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Medical care provided in the privacy of the patient's home
  • Requires driving to multiple patient's homes daily
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • One years' experience as a RN, at least 6 months recent Home Health experience required
  • Current RN License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Must have valid auto insurance
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
