Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, reporting to the Facility Manager and collaborating with the Sr. Compliance, Risk & Safety Manager, is responsible for overseeing a range of preventative maintenance tasks and repair work on buildings and equipment. This role involves managing work orders for general repairs, organizing job assignments, and procuring necessary supplies for maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural elements.
  • Oversee construction tasks such as framing, installations, and finishing work.
  • Drive company vehicles to various job sites and procure repair materials.
  • Inspect and maintain emergency systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Solicit bids for contractor services and coordinate maintenance projects.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, including paints and chemicals, while maintaining safety logs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of relevant experience or education in a related field.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient knowledge in construction, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and painting.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and relevant certifications is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals facing employment barriers.

Work Environment:

This position requires physical activity, including lifting, climbing, and manual dexterity. Exposure to various environmental conditions may occur, including working indoors and outdoors.
