Job Title: Weekend Intake Specialist

Job Summary:

The Home Care Medical Intake/Insurance Coordinator is responsible for Medicare/WellCare/Insurance Authorization/Intake, follow-up, and correspondence with clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process authorizations in a timely manner
  • Process intake in a timely manner
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
  • Provide accurate end-of-day reports
  • Ensure adherence to established processes
  • Follow through with clinical operations
  • Manage multiple locations
  • Scan paperwork efficiently
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of Medicare/WellCare billing experience
  • Home Care experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of EMR systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Results-oriented, dependable, and a strong team player
