Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Confluence Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Take vital signs, record medical histories, and administer medications as directed
  • Prepare patients for exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Accredited Medical Assisting program graduate or enrolled in externship program
  • Active Medical Assistant Interim (IC) or Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) license through the Washington State Department of Health
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with frequent interruptions. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Must also be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
