Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Confluence Health. As a Medical Assistant Certified, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and minor emergencies
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit
• Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
• Schedule lab tests, x-rays, and other procedures as needed
• Communicate with patients, relay important information to the provider, and provide follow-up care
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, clean instruments, and stock supplies
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Accredited Medical Assisting program graduate or enrolled in externship program
• Active Medical Assistant Interim (IC) or Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) license through the Washington State Department of Health
