American Traveler is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Current professional license as required by the state
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions
