At Apex Therapeutic Services, we're seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in New York City.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to conduct home evaluations for Healthfirst members. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for completing thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and Treat Patients: Provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments in accordance with professional standards of practice, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Infection Control and Patient Safety: Maintain accurate records, adhere to departmental and regulatory guidelines, and prioritize infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Clinical Documentation: Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, meeting departmental, regulatory, and payor standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment safety, guaranteeing optimal patient care and minimizing potential risks.
- Professional Qualifications: Registered Physical Therapist with current registration to practice in New York State, degree from an approved/accredited program/school for Physical Therapy, and professional pediatric care experience.
- Treatment Expertise: Recommend tailored treatment approaches and therapeutic techniques specific to each patient's needs, taking into account their age and condition.
