Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of one of our service centers while providing guidance and support to our team of customer service representatives. This position allows you to demonstrate your leadership, project management, and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the internal operations of the service center to achieve financial objectives.
  • Foster the development of leadership skills that align with team and individual goals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting key performance metrics, including order fulfillment and timely delivery.
  • Design and implement programs related to product promotion, inside sales, and customer service, while evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and develop service center staff to enhance team performance.
  • Support account managers in customer acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Oversee inventory management, financial reporting, and profit/loss analysis.
  • Maintain high standards of customer relations.
  • Utilize performance metrics to recommend operational best practices.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure service quality.
  • Create a positive and engaging work environment for all team members.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, along with exceptional administrative and project management skills. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and solve problems are essential.

Specific qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service leadership within an industrial setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Experience in industrial sales or distribution is preferred.
  • Familiarity with service center operations is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ERP or SAP systems is a plus.
