Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation or cooking of basic meals, typically under the guidance of the Head of Kitchen.
  • Organize and present food for counter service, including receiving prepared dishes and monitoring temperatures, as well as arranging dining room furniture.
  • Support in serving meals to students and staff.
  • Manage the collection and disposal of food waste and materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and ensure furniture is stored appropriately.
  • Wash and sanitize all crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and equipment in line with Vertas Catering policies, reporting any issues to the Head of Kitchen.
