About the Role

Lumata Health is a leading provider of data-driven virtual care management solutions. We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Developer to join our team and help us develop, maintain, and scale our cloud-based healthcare platform.

As an AWS Cloud Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable applications on AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS services that enhance patient care, data management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing AWS serverless resources across a variety of Services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena, CloudFormation, and Amazon Connect.
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable applications on AWS.
  • Update and build new integrations between AWS services and Salesforce.
  • Assist in EMR integration development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project objectives.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of professional programming work experience.
  • Experience in software engineering and AWS cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues.
  • Working knowledge or experience with cloud architecture and design.
  • Working knowledge or experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards, such as HIPAA, is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Associate level.
  • Contact center / Amazon Connect experience.
  • Salesforce development experience.

Work Environment:

Lumata Health is a remote-first company, and this role will be performed entirely remotely. You will need a dedicated remote workspace with a reliable internet connection and a minimum of 50 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed.
