The role of an Industrial Maintenance Technician is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing facilities. This position primarily involves working the 3rd shift, from 11 PM to 7 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain equipment, structural components, and electrical systems within a manufacturing setting.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on machinery.
- Perform facility upkeep as required, including the repair of forklifts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, such as variable speed drives, three-phase and single-phase AC and DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, and plumbing.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
- Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience working with AC & DC voltages ranging from 24 to 600 Volts.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
- Self-motivated with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
