Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, Norton Healthcare

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will utilize imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns.
- Ensure age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
- Apply professional knowledge to oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications:
- One of the following: RO (State Radiography License) AND ARRT-R, or ROT (Temp State Radiography License) AND must obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration.
- Desired: One year in general radiography.
