About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a nurse specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members to promote a culture of excellence and quality care.
  • Apply the caring processes of the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care to deliver patient-centered care and promote patient and family satisfaction.
  • Participate in maintaining a financially stable unit and promoting evidence-based practice and education.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A diploma or associate degree in nursing.
  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.

Desirable qualifications include one year of registered nurse experience and a bachelor's degree in nursing.
