We are seeking an experienced Field Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial automated equipment at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of industrial automated equipment at client locations, ensuring systems are fully operational and meet customer specifications.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of automated machinery to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with automated systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage electrical components, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes.
  • Conduct repairs on malfunctioning equipment and implement upgrades to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of automated systems, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for all site visits, including equipment status, work performed, and any recommendations for future service needs.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in the automation industry, with PLC modification/programming and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery, with strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and components.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the nation up to 50% at times.
