Maintenance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Staffmark Investment, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform necessary repairs on equipment, including during off-hours or weekends as needed.
  • Train with associates on preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring completion and accuracy.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely on a daily basis and that all preventative maintenance is documented and up-to-date.
  • Work with contractors for equipment repairs and oversee their activities on-site.
  • Help develop an inventory system for key parts needed for emergency repairs and handle purchasing procedures.
  • Complete and submit daily paperwork and assist in maintaining a clean work area according to 5S standards.
  • Recommend and plan projects with outside vendors and management.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (3-5 years of experience or technical training).
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks across shifts.
  • Reliable with a proven record of good attendance.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Capable of working with chemicals, wearing a respirator, working in confined spaces, and operating forklifts.
  • Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as needed, and to be on-call for emergencies.
