Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silfex. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Knowledge of industrial maintenance principles, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with production staff and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Technician will work in a manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to production equipment, tools, and materials. The position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds, with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.

The noise level in the environment is moderate, and the employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
