Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications under the direction of a physician
  • Maintain knowledge of drug reimbursement procedures and complete all chemotherapy charge forms
  • Assure pre-authorization and consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies
  • Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central lines catheter devices
  • Administer medications using correct technique and document nursing assessments, patient teaching, and fluid and medication administration in the patient chart
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum two years nursing experience, oncology experience preferred
