Job Title: Hospital Housekeeper

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospital Housekeeper to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform housekeeping and laundry duties to create a safe and inviting environment for residents, families, and team members.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Transport supplies, including clean and soiled linen, to storage and collection areas.
  • Collect and remove trash, and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
  • Inspect linens for wear and tear, identify worn and torn linens, and follow community procedures for damaged linens.
  • Maintain the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
  • Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, promote Risk Management programs and policies, and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
  • Practice safety procedures at all times, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
Requirements:
  • Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment, meeting or exceeding Sunrise's quality standards.
  • Desire to work with seniors.
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision, following community procedures and guidelines.
