The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience, be familiar with accounting software, and possess a solid understanding of GAAP and finance concepts.

About the Role:

  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring accurate multi-dimensional reporting structures, including departments, projects, and cost centers.
  • Oversee the monthly close process, preparing all financial statements accurately and on time, supported by detailed schedules and reconciliations.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation, reconciling discrepancies, and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Conduct tax-related account reconciliations and prepare documentation for both financial and tax audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and refine budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances to stay aligned with financial goals.
  • Lead or assist with special accounting projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives.
