Senior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Review financial data to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain the general ledger by ensuring multi-dimensional reporting structures are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Oversee the monthly close process, preparing financial statements on time, supported by detailed schedules and reconciliations.
  • Support audits by preparing documentation, reconciling discrepancies, and addressing auditor inquiries.
  • Conduct tax-related account reconciliations and prepare documentation for financial and tax audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and refine budgets, forecast future financial performance, and monitor variances.
  • Lead special accounting projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Intermediate analytical ability to solve complex problems.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and finance concepts is beneficial.

Salary Estimate

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the level of expertise required for this role and the value we place on our team members' contributions.
