Role Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and meticulous Corporate Finance Specialist to aid in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives. This essential position will be accountable for generating precise financial statements, performing thorough analyses, and delivering insights that facilitate informed decision-making within the company. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams and upper management to guarantee the integrity of financial data and support the execution of financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Specialist:
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and disseminate routine and on-demand financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses, to bolster decision-making processes.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Partner with key stakeholders to formulate annual budgets and long-term financial projections. Track performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insightful explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Execute comprehensive financial evaluations to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks. Offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and optimize resource distribution.
  • Month-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations as required.
  • KPI Monitoring: Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking and reporting on business performance. Identify areas for enhancement and monitor progress.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Address ad-hoc data and analysis inquiries from senior management, delivering timely and accurate information to aid strategic decisions.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work in conjunction with various departments, including Sales, Operations, and Marketing, to collect financial data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications for the Corporate Finance Specialist:
  • Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong grasp of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Power BI, R, etc.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is mandatory.
