Key Responsibilities- Efficiently operates a waste collection vehicle to designated sites, ensuring timely delivery of completed trucks to clients, which may involve interstate travel.
- Keeps precise records of travel routes and mileage.
- Utilizes company vehicles for the delivery and collection of parts as needed.
- Conducts inspections and performs basic maintenance on vehicles; coordinates with supervisors for any necessary repairs beyond basic maintenance capabilities.
- Ensures a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during tasks; halts work immediately if any safety issues arise.
- Reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisors without delay.
- Implements 5S methodology within the work area, ensuring all tools are returned to their designated places when not in use, and maintains cleanliness in the workspace by removing all debris after completing tasks.
- Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
- Possesses a clean DOT record and is capable of passing MVR and DOT physical/background checks.
- Exhibits strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Holds a valid Commercial Driver License.
- Shows flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements.
