Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical utility & HVAC systems, including sizing and selection of building mechanical equipment.
- Perform complex engineering calculations, such as HVAC load & ventilation air calculations, psychometrics, and pipe flow/pressure drop.
- Utilize building load calculation software, such as Trane Trace, to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
- Develop building energy models and apply knowledge of relevant MEP industry codes & standards.
- Collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.
- Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to other engineers and designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with HVAC and/or utility systems design.
- Preferred qualifications include PE credential, expertise with HVAC and Mechanical Utility system technology, and experience with laboratory space and plumbing system design.
