The Amberwell Health Human Resource Generalist will oversee daily HR functions including recruitment, pay programs, compliance, employee benefits, company policies, and practices. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Four years of related work experience are preferred, along with a Human Resources certification.

Salary: Estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and industry standards.

About the Role:

  • Administer human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave, under the direction of the Executive Director of Human Resources.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, serving as a resource to leaders guiding the process.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies and practices for adherence.
  • Stay knowledgeable about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Prioritize tasks, delegate when necessary, and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Four years of related work experience, preferred.
  • Human Resources certification, preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
