Position Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Label Division Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing daily operations, production processes, and staff management within our Label Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in narrow web and flexo printing, along with exceptional managerial capabilities. Key attributes include meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and effective communication.

Compensation

Salary Range: $72,000 - $85,000 annually

Key Objectives

  • Optimize the efficiency of the Label Division with a focus on customer satisfaction by supervising, organizing, and training all employees while establishing and managing operational goals.
  • Guide the team in addressing daily operational challenges and achieving both short-term and long-term performance objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations, including inventory control and logistics management.
  • Develop workflows, staffing plans, space allocations, and equipment layouts to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing standards and complying with legal regulations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of operations, including production, quality assurance, purchasing, and related activities.
  • Supervise production staff to ensure job scheduling and productivity standards are met.
  • Coordinate production activities to achieve objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Establish and maintain organizational and safety policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee product quality and consistency while enhancing efficiencies and minimizing waste and costs throughout production.
  • Analyze weekly production reports, address production issues, and manage monthly inventory.
  • Communicate and align with corporate goals.
  • Provide leadership to cultivate, motivate, and train a high-performing team.
  • Support business growth and demonstrate commitment to the company's success.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in production management or operations within the label or flexible packaging sector.
  • Experience in color management and matching.
  • Proficient in workflow management, systems management, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business judgment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Hands-on management style with a willingness to engage directly in daily operations.
  • Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.
