Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our Kindig Lane facility.

This is a Week Night shift position, working from Monday-Thursday 6:00PM-6:00AM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate packaging machines efficiently in a team atmosphere.
  • Perform Daily Operator checklist at shift change and startup.
  • Verify proper operations and operating scales on packaging machines.
  • Gather packaging film from warehouse.
  • Ensure proper codes and price are printed on packages.
  • Use proper former and adjust temperature to have a proper seal on all packages.
Requirements:
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Knowledge of all packaging machine equipment and machines used in the Packaging Department.
  • Ability to lift a minimum 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills to enter component usage.
