Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Coordinator to join our team at TJX Companies. As a key member of our Fulfillment Center team, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting all hardware, peripheral components, and software applications to ensure continuous operation within the facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot all FC/DC computer, telecommunications (voice and data), and copier hardware to ensure continuous operation.
  • Ensure all network components are operational, make repairs, adjustments, and reconfigure systems as needed.
  • Provide technical assistance to Fulfillment Center users and serve as a project leader for various systematic/operational projects within the Distribution Center.
  • Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of equipment inventory, problems, and failures, and coordinate preventative maintenance and/or corrective programs with vendor service personnel.
  • Install necessary communication equipment, install cable lines, and configure systems as deemed necessary.
  • Functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and office tools to troubleshoot and communicate computer concerns.
  • Set up individual user computers/workstations and peripheral devices on the network, identify and resolve problems, clean and reconfigure equipment, make repairs, and/or coordinate service.
  • Monitor software applications and file server to ensure functionality, install software, and perform systems backups.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to FC/DC users as necessary and lead and execute various systemic/operational projects within the facility.
  • Coordinate the ordering of supplies and stock, maintain inventory of supplies as necessary, and print reports, labels, and tickets as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of computer operations experience with demonstrated familiarity with communications (voice, data, telecommunications) Warehouse/Order Management Systems or Windows NT administration.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility with changing demands and priorities, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to create pivot tables, graphs, complex formulas, macros, and Access database knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, background or knowledge of network cabling and network infrastructure, router, wireless Access Points, switches, patch panels.
