Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and manage complex construction, rehabilitation, and/or alteration of structures, facilities, equipment, and/or other infrastructure systems.
- Coordinate the activities of assigned project staff and/or contractors in the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.
- Develop standards and criteria for design and construction for complex engineering projects.
- Develop, design, proposals, schedules, and cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Evaluate progress and results of engineering activity and recommend changes in procedures of assigned projects.
- Maintain liaison with individuals and units (internally and externally) to facilitate the completion of assigned projects.
- Manage the estimation of human and other resources needs and schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
- Baccalaureate Degree in the appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent, and six years of applied engineering experience, to include project management experience.
- Professional Engineer License in the state of New Jersey is required.
