About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Technician to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare and maintain operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Count and verify surgical sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to prevent errors and ensure correct patient identification and procedure verification.
Requirements
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate preferred (CST) or equivalent.
  • Completion of surgical technologist course or comparable experience.
  • 1 – 3 Years Previous OR Tech Experience Required.
