Key Responsibilities

  1. Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
  2. Implement task-specific functions as directed by registered nurses, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  3. Provide age-appropriate care to patients, taking into account their unique needs and behaviors.
  4. Assist with medical procedures, including CPR and cardiac arrest management.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including lab results and treatment orders.
  6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • EMT or EMT-P certification required; CNA license considered.
  • One year of clinical experience in pre-hospital care and/or acute care preferred.
