Position Overview:

We are in search of experienced professionals with a strong background in data integration and workforce benefits. This role is structured as a W2 hourly position with Ledgent Technology.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Director and Product Owner of Integrations, the Lead Integrations Engineer will collaborate with various functional areas and corporate teams to establish a robust integrated framework of solution providers for Workforce Benefits. This engineer will take charge of delivering innovative patterns and technological solutions to integrate SaaS systems and partner solutions within the Workforce Benefits technology ecosystem, facilitating the streaming and exchange of both structured and unstructured data.

This position will be pivotal in providing real-time, scalable access to data, addressing the integration requirements of the division.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing integrations or applications for a digital ecosystem, or in designing enterprise-level integration architecture, with proficiency in modern integration methodologies such as RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and ETL frameworks.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in integration.
  • 5+ years of direct experience with contemporary cloud integration platforms, particularly AWS services and electronic data interchange (EDI).

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in orchestration, file transfer, and data transformation strategies utilizing technologies such as Mulesoft, Snowflake, and Control-M.
  • 3+ years of experience in Group Benefits insurance data domains, including Distribution, Product, Underwriting, Enrollment, Finance, Billing, and Claims.
  • 4+ years of experience with event-based technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS Eventbridge, Kinesis, and SNS.
  • Familiarity with EIS administration systems or other microservices administration platforms.

Technical Skills Required:

Essential:

  • 4+ years of experience with event-driven technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Eventbridge, Kinesis, and SNS.
  • 5+ years of practical integration experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing integrations or applications for a digital ecosystem or in drafting enterprise-level integration architecture, with expertise in advanced integration approaches including RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and ETL frameworks.
