Job Overview

As a Class A Truck Driver at US Foods, Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering food products to customers across the country. This position involves safely operating a commercial vehicle, adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license, a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Safely transporting food products from our warehouses to customers' locations
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Providing top-notch customer service and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery
  • Working collaboratively with our warehouse team to load and unload products efficiently
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old and possess a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence
  • Have a minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Be able to read and communicate in the English language
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred
