Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Bay Medical Management LLC. As an integral member of our diagnostic and interventional services, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

About the Role:

  • Work under general supervision to operate MRI equipment and produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct patient interviews, explain procedures, prepare patients for exams, screen patients for contraindications, and transfer patients to exam areas.
  • Follow site standard protocols and confer with radiologists regarding symptoms, findings, and protocols.
  • Determine the most suitable coils and positioning devices to obtain imaging of specified body areas requested by physicians.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as required under the direction of radiologists.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of completion of radiologic technical training from an AMA-approved institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of staff technologist experience.
  • Working knowledge of MRI equipment, protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, sterile procedures, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary for this role is between $61.17 and $76.10, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
