We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program Manager to join our AIML team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI and machine learning at Apple.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and drive early engagements on product architecture, feature definition, and program execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, standards, and processes that align with Apple's values.
- Develop and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology.
- Drive on-time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs, establishing achievements for checkpoints and status updates.
- Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources vital to attack and resolve.
- 8+ years of experience in project or program management shipping products driven by machine-learned systems to worldwide users.
- Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
- Detailed understanding of testing, build, and release processes for sophisticated software.
- Demonstrated skill of negotiating and distilling complex technical requirements from multiple partners into a coherent long-term platform roadmap.
- Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills, including experience leading metrics-driven projects or programs.
- BS, MS, or PHD in computer science or engineering or other technical area, or experience in related field.
