Job Overview

Crucial Link Group is seeking a skilled Tow Motor Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tow motor (forklift) to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate Tow Motor: Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items to designated locations.
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Use appropriate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
  • Supply Production Lines: Ensure production lines have necessary materials and move finished products to storage or shipping areas.
  • Inspect Equipment: Daily inspect tow motor and report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Assist with Inventory Control: Ensure materials and products are accurately counted and documented.
  • Maintain Clean Work Areas: Comply with safety standards and company policies to maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Wear required protective equipment and follow proper procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Coordinate tasks with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
Qualifications:
  • Tow Motor Certification: Valid tow motor operator certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience: Prior experience operating a tow motor or forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, and safety procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
