Position Summary: The Construction Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing volunteer groups and contractors engaged in the restoration and repair of residences affected by natural disasters. This role requires professional interaction with both volunteers and homeowners, fostering a sense of hope and security through the mission of the organization. The coordinator ensures that all work meets high standards and complies with local and state building regulations for safety.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in construction and site management.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time, temporary position for a duration of up to 90 days. Following successful completion of this period, an offer for full employment may be considered if the disaster recovery project continues. The role requires remote work capability, with regular travel for site coordination and team meetings. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Volunteer Teams:
- Welcome volunteer teams upon arrival and provide an overview of their tasks.
- Train teams on safety protocols, tools, and equipment usage.
- Ensure all necessary supplies are available on-site for volunteer teams.
- Supervise teams and address any questions regarding their assignments.
- Assist and educate team members to enhance their service experience.
- Coordinate materials and personnel with the Construction Project Director.
- Manage procurement of supplies for volunteer teams and clients.
- Assign tasks to volunteer teams based on their skill levels.
- Utilize tracking processes for volunteer hours and needs.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves working in varying weather conditions and requires physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing. Travel to various locations may be necessary.
Additional Information:
This is a temporary role with no eligibility for health plan or pension benefits. Mobile office equipment and a cellular phone allowance will be provided, along with vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
