We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Desi Fresh Foods, a leading dairy manufacturer with over 23 years of experience. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our production equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance inspections and service tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to prevent equipment failures and maximize uptime.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with production staff to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to facility, quality, and safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance, accurately and timely.
  • Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields is ideal. Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of production equipment, including conveyors, pumps, mixers, and packaging machinery. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including motors, switches, and control panels.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
