Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments of patients, considering age-specific criteria.
- Utilize critical thinking to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and enhance patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly identify any changes, ensuring timely interventions.
- Document all nursing interventions and modifications to care plans accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to established nursing policies, procedures, and standards to maintain high-quality patient care.
- Engage patients and their families in the care process, providing education and support throughout their stay.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for colleagues, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
