About the Opportunity:

Job Overview:

North Park University is seeking a dedicated Student Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our student support services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing of our students. With a strong background in case management, counseling, or a related field, you will provide essential support to students experiencing distress or disruption.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students experiencing distress or disruption.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with campus partners, including Counseling Services, Residence Life, and Student Engagement.
  • Assist with outreach and education to the campus community regarding identification and support for students of concern.
  • Contribute to the development of University policies and procedures for managing distressed students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of direct student support experience in case management, counseling, guidance and/or advising
  • Knowledge of emotional and mental health issues affecting post-secondary students
  • Experience with mental health crisis management activities
