Inalab Consulting is seeking a qualified O&M Budget Support professional to assist the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in enhancing Government staff capabilities for Office of Budget Operations functions. This role encompasses various budgetary support areas including Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Research, and International Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Support for Academic Departments and Staff Agencies:
- Provide comprehensive O&M budget assistance to resource advisors within the USAFA Academic Department and Staff Agencies.
- Ensure the level of budget support is adequate for the assigned departments and agencies.
- Offer policy recommendations regarding program funding to resource advisors.
- Process O&M documentation (such as load sheets, journal vouchers, and 1080s) for appropriate government financial office actions.
- O&M Program Assistance:
- Assist Office of Budget leadership in the initiation, monitoring, and management of O&M budget programs.
- Facilitate communication and interactions between Office of Budget leadership, USAFA/FM, and 10 CONS as necessary.
- Designate a team lead for budget support coordination across Contractor services.
- O&M Budget Team Coordination:
- Oversee monthly reviews, DAR-Q reporting, unfunded requirement (UFR) reporting, year-end closeout, and tri-annual reviews to ensure optimal use of O&M funds.
- Utilize standard budgetary methods and techniques, apply basic statistical analysis, and compare current and historical O&M budget data as required.
