Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Medix is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in advancing the development of medications and therapies for individuals living with diabetes and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical studies following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA regulations, ensuring participant safety and welfare.
  • Assist medical investigators in protocol implementation, screen participants, and obtain informed consent.
  • Plan and schedule research activities, report adverse events, and maintain accurate case histories.
  • Communicate with sponsors regarding study activities and data, meet with sponsor representatives, and maintain strong relationships with research partners.
  • Prepare for external audits by sponsors and the FDA, and conduct internal audits of studies.
Requirements:
  • CMA, LPN, or RN certification
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in patient care or research
  • Knowledge of business English, spelling, arithmetic, modern office practices, and standard office equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite or similar products
  • CPR certification (to be obtained within 6 months of start date)
