Key Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail Loss Prevention.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations or security protocols.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed by the retail schedule.
- Capability to stand or walk on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
- Consistent attendance is a critical aspect of the role.
- Ability to work independently.
- Thorough understanding of Five Below policies and procedures.
- General product knowledge in key departmental areas.
Job Responsibilities:
Loss Prevention and Investigations:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure compliance with policies and procedures by all employees.
- Oversee the employee entrance, as applicable.
- Monitor all packages delivered through the employee entrance, excluding regular scheduled shipments.
- Conduct physical security assessments of the store and propose strategies to mitigate loss.
- Perform regular patrols throughout the store.
Operations and Safety:
- Maintain a visible presence at the entrance/exit through courteous and professional interactions with customers.
- Conduct safety inspections and communicate any hazards to store management.
- Welcome customers as a representative of Five Below.
