ITS and Traffic Signal Technician I, II, or III

We are a full-service, stocking distributor for numerous product lines, with full support from design to technical. AM Signal has team members spanning the western United States covering a wide territory from Texas to California.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical knowledge on products and services offered by AM Signal and its partners.
- Travel to job sites for installation and configuration of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and document issues, and document installation activities.
- Initiate and track repair requests, and identify concerns with equipment or procedures.
- Assist with product testing and research.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to use a laptop Windows PC, including use of applications to connect to equipment or remote systems.
- Valid driver's license with Real ID for air travel and a clean driving record.
- Basic electrical knowledge of AC & DC currents, voltage, etc. and use of a multi-meter.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English – spoken and written forms.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outside in weather conditions including high heat, cold temps, wind, haze, smoke, etc.
- Ability to sit and drive a motor vehicle for long periods of time.
- Ability to travel via airplane for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform consistent physical labor including frequent repetitive sitting, standing, walking, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, etc. in indoor and outdoor environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- IMSA Level II or III certification.
- Manufacturer certifications (i.e., FLIR, Miovision, etc.).
- Electrician license at any level.
- Understanding of signal and ITS cabinets, components, and layouts.
